Square 1 Camp 2019

  • AYW Port Hacking Conference Centre (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Square 1 is on again! Each year a group of St Matt's kids in Years 3-6 head down to Youthworks Port Hacking Conference Centre for a weekend of age-appropriate Bible teaching and fun activities.

Kids have the opportunity to enjoy the big camp experience with friends and familiar leaders with time in big and small groups, messy activities, swimming, singing, dress ups and more.

This year we will be learning about Jesus the light of the world from the Gospel of John in small discussion group times, individual ‘Me & God’ times and in talks from Yoke Lee, the Children’s Pastor at Blakehurst.

Winter Warmers - Share a meal

Winter Warmers - Share a meal

Over the winter months we like to share meals together. We call these Winter Warmers.

If you would like to be involved let us know if you would like to HOST or ATTEND a meal at someone else's house and which dates you available. We will match you up with others from St Matt's and then together you can work out the finer details.

To make these meals easier on the hosts these are meals where everyone brings part of the meal to share. Once you know your group you can work out food intolerances, who will bring what and what time you will meet together.

Women's retreat 2019

A rare opportunity for the women of St Matt's to rest from the busyness of work, home & family and spend time alone with God and in fellowship.

There is time to relax and chat, go for a walk,  share a meal, or simply have time alone. We will also spend some time together in prayer and reading the Bible.

From Friday evening to Sunday, come for the whole weekend or just a few hours. We will contribute a small amount to cover food but accommodation is free. There is plenty of space and no time pressures. Come and enjoy.
