Mondays during term time: 10am-12noon. Cost: FREE

Our Monday Play Time is a great place for parents, grand-parents or carers and their kids to start the week off with fun, community and learning.  Our playtime incorporates the elements of “ELTP” (Early Learning Through Play) to allow young ones to learn no matter their level of language or experience.

Each week at Play Time is time for the grown-ups to grab a cuppa with friends while the kids enjoy with free play, craft, fruit time and finally singing and a bible and story time which incorporate activities to prepare children for school (ELTP). The ELTP elements for school readiness include giving children the opportunity to use scissors, paint, learn songs and actions, and follow routine.

Come along and meet the great people at St Matts Play Time.

Kids After School At st Matts (KASAM) is our after-school kids club for kids in Years 3, 4 and 5 from our local communities. KASAM runs on Friday afternoons after school (3:15 - 5:30pm) and is run by volunteers and staff from St Matts.

Two leaders walk with kids from Ashbury Public School to the church grounds where we are joined by kids from other schools and eat afternoon tea together.

Each week we have crazy games and activities as well as bible talks and group time. Some favourite activity weeks include chocolate week, messy art week, giant board games, balloons and bubbles and water fun. KASAM is one among many programs and events held by St Matts in the hope of sharing the love of Jesus with our community and beyond.

$3/ week to cover costs.

All the leaders of KASAM have WWCC and completed Safe Ministry training in compliance with standards set by the Anglican Diocese of Sydney.

All children are welcome at St Matts and are a lively part of our church community. We have a Crèche for infants from 6 months to three years in the Crèche room under the Hall from 10am. All older children begin in Church with their family and friends and leave mid-service to join their groups around the coloured flags. The primary aged kids enjoy Big Group time in the Hall before separating into smaller groups.

Currently running 6 classes for almost 60 kids, there is a class for every child.

Come and say "hello" on a Sunday morning or to find out more about any of these classes and activities or Contact Christine.
