Before going into full time ministry Mark served as both a Police Officer and Firefighter for around 11 years. He then trained for ministry at Moore College in Newtown before working as a Youth Minister in Miranda. The Ashbury area has been home to Mark, his wife and 3 kids since mid 2008. At St Matt's Mark is involved in leading and preaching at the Sunday services.
Along with ministering at St Matt's Mark has been involved in setting up a support network for those in the Emergency services, called "000 Ministries."
